: Respondents Prayer:Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the person or body of the detenu, namely, Maheswari, D/o.Devaraj, aged 20 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

2. The Inspector of Police, Masarpatti Police Station filed a counter-affidavit indicating that the police traced the detenu and produced her before the learned District Munsif -cum- Judicial Magistrate, Vilathikulam, Thoothukudi District on 27.04.2016. The detenu represented before the learned Magistrate that she wanted to go with her parents. Accordingly, she was permitted to go along with her parents.

3. In view of the subsequent events relating to the production of the detenu before the learned Magistrate and entrusting her custody to the parents, nothing survives for adjudication in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

4. The Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with the above observation.
