Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner was appointed as Professor in the Government Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Kottar, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District on 07.06.2013. This appointment made by the second respondent was subsequently ratified by the first respondent on 26.02.2021 vide G.O.(D)No.375 Health and Family Welfare (IMI-1) Department. Now the petitioner seeks declaration of completion of probation with effect from 13.06.2015.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would state that the first respondent has to pass order and the representation has also been given.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader states that the second respondent is competent to consider the petitioner's request. Be that as it may, the competent authority / the respondents herein are directed to pass order on the petition mentioned representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
