PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, to direct the District Munsif Court, Theni, to dispose the suit in O.S.No. 116 of 2023 within a time frame.

ORDER

The defendants 1 to 5 in O.S.No.116 of 2023, on the file of the District Munsif Court, Theni, have filed the present revision petition seeking expeditious disposal of the above said suit.

2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the revision petitioners, P.W.1 has filed his proof affidavit on 19.09.2024 and documents were also marked. Thereafter, P.W.1 has not appeared for the cross examination and it has been adjourned to 15.10.2024, 08.11.2024, 21.11.2024, 07.12.2024, 07.01.2025 and 06.02.2025. Therefore, according to the learned Counsel appearing for the revision petitioners, the plaintiff is avoiding his cross examination and hence, the present revision petition has been filed. 2/4

3.Considering the above said facts, the trial Court is directed to dispose of the suit on or before 31.12.2025.

4.With the above said observations, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
