ORDER
The petitioner is a Doctor by profession. She fell in love with a relative and got married to him. It appears that the petitioner's husband is not from a economically sound background. 2.The petitioner alleges that her family members who are opposed to the marriage, are taking steps for separating the two. Even though the petitioner is strong in her stand and conviction, the couple are allegedly facing life threat. In this regard, the petitioner had given a complaint on 10.03.2020. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that even without enquiring the offending persons, the enquiry was closed. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5684 of 2020 4.I am of the view that the apprehension expressed by the petitioner can be taken care by directing the jurisdictional Deputy Superintendent of Police to look into the matter. 5.The petitioner's counsel states that the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Karur has the jurisdiction. 6.The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Karur, is directed to enquire into the complaint dated 10.03.2020 submitted by the petitioner herein to the third respondent and take action as per law. I make it clear that since the young couple are expressing apprehension, the same will be looked into utmost expedition and there shall not be any delay.
7.With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
