2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent and Mr.AK.Gopalan, learned counsel for the intervenor.
3.Based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant, a case was registered against the petitioner and one Jothibaskaran, who were working as Personal Banker and Bank Manager of HDFC Bank, Kadayanallur.

CRL OP(MD). No.5678 of 2020 4.According to the FIR, the petitioner along with other accused have collected a sum of Rs.48,00,000/- (Rupees Forty Eight Lakh only) through various cheques promising to deposit in the Bank and they have also given fake deposit receipt to the defacto complainant to make him believe that the money has been deposited in the Bank account. Later, it has been found by the defacto complainant that the amount was not deposited in the Bank account. Hence, the complaint.
5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the matter is under investigation.
6.Considering the gravity of the crime, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
