This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to forbear the 4th respondent from disturbing the peaceful possession of the petitioner's property in Survey Number 184, 186/3, 186/4B, 186/4C, 186/4D, 186/10A, 186/10B, 190, 191, 193 situated in Meerankulam Part II Village, Sathankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District without following due procedure.

2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the 4th respondent, without obtaining any permission, has proposed to lay a power line corridor to transmit the electricity from KNPP through the petitioner's land. In this regard, the petitioner has already sent a representation on 13.09.2025 before the respondents. Since no action has been taken by the respondents till date to stop the said work, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.09.2025, on merits and in 3/6
accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the meantime, the parties are directed to maintain status quo as on today.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
