: Respondents Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the Respondent No.2 to file the final report by arresting the accused in Crime No.2 of 2014, dated 07.1.2014 and proceed with the same as per law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

On the direction of this Court, the Inspector of Police, T.Kallupatti Circle, Madurai District, has filed a status report, wherein it is stated as follows:- "5.It is submitted that immediate after registration of this case, then Inspector of Police has obtained 161(3) statement from 6 persons namely, the petitioner, Kumaravel son of Vembulu, Paraman son of Nallsivam, Paraman son of Irulappan, Ganesan son of Ramasamy and Veeranan son of Muthukalai and inspected the place of occurrence and made ready the Parvai Magazar and rough sketch in the presence of witnesses. On the investigation it is revealed that the 1st accused has filed insolvency petition before the Subordinate Judge, Madurai in I.P.No.86 of 2013 and the same is pending for adjudication.

6. It is submit that the accused persons were obtained Anticipatory Bail. The petitioner did not Co https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

operate the investigation and did not produce relevant documents to complete the Investigation. It is submitted that necessary and appropriate steps have been taken to complete the Investigation of this case and to file a final report as early as possible. So the allegations made in the petition is false, wrong and baseless, but the petitioner did not cooperate to complete the Investigation."

2. Recording the same, this petition is closed with a further direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.2 of 2014 expeditiously and either file charge sheet or closure report as the case may be.
