O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to survey and demarcate the petitioner's house property on the basis of sale deed in Document No.3729/1959 comprised in Old Natham S.No.115/3 New Survey No 590/5 situated at Keelaiyur Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, having the survey fields more fully North side46 feet, Western side 50 feet, southern side 46 feet and eastern side 50 feet (totally 2300 feet) based on the petitioner's application dated 19.02.2026 registered vide No. 2026/N123/24/000251 in accordance with law and consequently directing the fourth respondent 2/6

to provide adequate police protection for conducting the survey.

The petitioner seeks the indulgence of this Court to direct respondents 1 to 3 to conduct a survey and demarcate the boundaries of the aforementioned property, as requested in his application dated 19.02.2026. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite submitting the application on 19.02.2026, no action has been taken by the authorities. Aggrieved by this inaction, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submits that the petitioner's application will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 19.02.2026 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders in compliance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve 3/6

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
