PRAYER :- Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action to settle the claim of death compensation, Insurance amount, legal dues, final settlement and other terminal benefits in respect of the Petitioner deceased husband namely Late.S.Balamurugan Sivagaminathan Passport No.M1202998 and I.D.No.2543083758 with concerned authorities within stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action to settle the claim of death compensation, Insurance amount, legal dues, final settlement and other terminal benefits in respect of the Petitioner's deceased husband namely Late.S.Balamurugan Sivagaminathan Passport No.M1202998 and I.D.No.2543083758 with concerned authorities within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the respondents 3 and 4, notice to them is dispensed with.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has already sent a representation on 27.04.2025, seeking to settle the claim of death compensation, Insurance amount, legal dues, final settlement and other terminal benefits in respect of the Petitioner's deceased husband. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 27.04.2025 would be considered in accordance with law.

5. In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 27.04.2025, on merits and in 3/6

accordance with law and release all the terminal benefits to the petitioner, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
