ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Petitioner / A1, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 09.07.2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 392, 397 and 506(ii) of IPC in Cr.No.498 of 2016 on the file of respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused waylaid the defacto complainant and attacked him with deadly weapons and took away a sum of Rs.5,000/- and also threatened him with dire consequences.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent. 4.Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the petitioner is having 17 previous cases and the investigation of the case is pending.

5.Considering the veracity of offence against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to release him on bail. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
