The petitioner/Complainant has approached this Court to direct the third respondent to register a case based on the order passed by the learned Judge, Special Court for PCR Cases, Thoothukudi in Cr.M.P No. 111 of 2024, dated 29.01.2024.

2.Today(25.07.2024), when this Criminal Original Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that the order of the learned Judge, Special Court for PCR Cases, Thoothukudi in Cr.M.P No. 111 of 2024, dated 29.01.2024 has been complied with and a case in Crime No. 57 of 2024 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 441, 294(b), 427 and 506(i) of IPC r/w Section 3(1)(r) and 3(1)(s) of SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989, on the file of the Tharuvaikulam Police Station.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has raised an apprehension that A1 in this case is working as the Inspector of Police in Tharuvaikulam Police Station. Therefore, the respondent police may not take proper course of action.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advcoate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed. If the petitioner apprehends that the respondent police may not conduct proper investigation in the above case, he is at liberty to lodge a complaint before the concerned Superintendent of Police and if any 3/5

complaint is lodged, the same shall be considered by the Superintendent of Police concerned.
