Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to secure the detenu and produce the person or body of the detenu viz., Selvam @ Ayyanar, Son of Karuppasamy, aged about 28 years before this Court and set him at liberty and pass such further or other orders.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to produce the detenu by name Selvam @ Ayyanar, Son of Karuppasamy.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that the detenu has been arrested and remanded to custody in connection with Crime No.327 of 2014, Sivakasi Town Police Station and to that effect certified copy of remand report has been filed wherein it has been clearly stated that the detenu has been arrested in connection with Crime No.327 of 2014 registered under Sections 454 and 380 of the Indian https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Penal Code.

3. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought for in the petition has become infructuous.
