O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent/Commissioner of Police to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.03.2025 in the light of the report submitted by the 5th respondent/Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police by initiating department action as well legal action against the 7th respondent within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, the 7th respondent has approached the petitioner to purchase plots, thereby, he has received a sum of Rs.24 lakhs. In this regard, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the 3rd respondent against the 7th respondent, which was forwarded to the 5th respondent and the 5th respondent has also conducted an elaborated enquiry and recommended to take departmental and legal action against the 7th respondent, through his report, dated 11.01.2025. However, the 3rd respondent, who is the competent authority has not taken any action against the 7th respondent. Therefore, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents on 03.03.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that they have received the representation of the petitioner and the same is under consideration and the same will be considered and disposed of within a period of one week. 4.Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition without issuing notice to the 7th respondent and recording the submission 3/6
of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who assured to dispose of the petitioner's representation, this Court hereby directs the 3rd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 03.03.2025 in line with the report of the 5th respondent within a period of one week from the date of this order in accordance with law. 5.With the above observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
