ORDER : The Court made the following order :- No representation for the petitioner.
2.The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 506(i) of I.P.C., in Crime No.Not Known of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
3.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is a contractor and he had entered into a contract with the de-facto complainant on terms that he shall construct a house to an extent of 728 1⁄2 sq.ft, at the cost of Rs.10,70,000/-. CRL OP(MD). No.5685 of 2020 construction work. Thereafter, the petitioner neither continued the construction nor repaid the advance amount. When the de-facto complainant questioned the same, the petitioner alleged to have threatened the de-facto complainant. Hence, the complaint. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the State submits that the petition enquiry is pending against this petitioner.
5.Hence this petition for anticipatory bail is disposed of with a direction that the petitioner to co-operate for enquiry and appear before the respondent police as and when required for enquiry. The respondent police shall not harass the petitioner unnecessarily during enquiry.
