Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the body or person of the missing girl namely Deeba, D/o.Varadharajan, aged 18 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to trace out and produce the detenu by name Deeba aged 18 years, daughter of the petitioner.

2. The petitioner is present and he has been identified by his counsel.

3. The detenu herself has made her appearance and she stated that she attained 20 years of age.

4. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought for in the petition has become infructuous.

5. In fine, this Habeas Corpus petition deserves dismissal and accordingly is dismissed.
