O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent herein, not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the tenant of one Manikandan and thereafter, the private respondent has created documents as if he purchased the property and attempted to evict the petitioner without due process of law. Therefore, the 3rd respondent lodged a complaint before the 2nd respondent and thereby, the petitioner has also appeared and given an explanation on 30.11.2024. While so, again the 2nd respondent police insisted the petitioner to vacate the premise and thereby, he has filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 and 2 would submit that based on the complaint given by the 3rd respondent, they conducted an enquiry and the same is pending. The petitioner has also appeared for enquiry and gave his explanation. They will complete the enquiry within a week.

4. Since the prayer of the petitioner is not to harass the petitioner Page No. 2 of 4

and the 2nd respondent police also admitted that based on the complaint given by the 3rd respondent, they called the petitioner and he also appeared and they will dispose the complaint within a week. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of one week from the date of the order.

5. With the above said observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
