ORDER

Even though this petition is filed to quash the proceedings in D.V.O.P.No.1 of 2017 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that it would be suffice if a direction is issued to complete the trial expeditiously.

2. Accepting the submissions, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tiruneveli, to dispose of the case in D.V.O.P.No.1 of 2017, within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided these petitioners and Mohamed Jailani cooperate with the trial by cross-examining the witnesses on the day when they are examined in chief, without adopting any dilatory tactics.

3. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of. The interim order dated 19.04.2017 stands vacated. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
