Order : This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.T.LENINKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KOTTAICHAMY, Government Advocate (Criminal Side)on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time to deposit the amount and furnish the sureties as per the order of this Court dated 20.02.2024 made in Crl.O.P(MD).No.2015 of 2024.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that on 20.02.2024, the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD).No.2015 of 2024 on condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) in the name of President, Narasingam Panchayat [Account No:10111536134, MICR Code:625002008, CIF No:80080760562, IFSC Code:SBIN0002246, Othakadai Branch, Madurai (2246)]. However, on 26.02.2024, when the petitioner went to the Bank to deposit the amount, he was informed that the bank account number of Narasingam Panchayat was wrongly mentioned in the order copy. Hence, the petitioner could not surrender before the concerned Court and furnish the sureties. Therefore, this Petition has been filed.

In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.2,00,000/-(Rupees Two Lakhs only) to the name of Narasingam Village Panchayat-225262 [Account No.7387086170; MICR Code: 600019053 CIF No: 03262384860, IFSC Code: IDBI000S004, Indian Bank, Saidapet Branch, Chennai] without prejudice to his defence before the trial Court within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and time granted by this Court, vide order dated 20.02.2024 is extended finally for a period of two weeks from the date of 2/4
