The present Habeas Corpus Petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or person of the petitioner's daughter, namely, L.Deepika, aged about 23 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. The petitioner, who is the mother of the girl, fully knowing about the fact that her daughter has eloped and married one Tamilselvan, aged about 24 years, had filed this Habeas Corpus Petition alleging that the said Tamilselvan and his relatives are illegally detaining her daughter and her whereabouts are not known.

3. The petitioner, her daughter and the said Tamilselvan, whom the petitioner's daughter has married, are present before this Court today. Since it is an elopement by a major girl, a Habeas Corpus Petition will not arise. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed. (G.J.,J.)
