Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to To produce the persons or bodies of detenue Selvi aged 32 years W/o. Palraj before this Hon ble Court and set her at liberty and also Minor Slolmon Raja aged about 9 years S/o Palaraj and Minor Shalini aged about 8 years D/o. Palraj before this Hon ble Court and hand over them to petitioners custody.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

2. Alleging illegal detention, writ of Habeas Corpus is sought for.

3.On notice, the Inspector of Police, Colachel Police Station, Kanyakumari District has produced the alleged detenues. When we enquired Selvi, wife of the petitioner and the alleged https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

detenue, she submitted that there was a wordy quarrel and hence, she left the matrimonial home, along with her two children. She further submitted that she wants to go back to her matrimonial home, and live with her husband.

4.In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed. The Inspector of Police, Colachel Police Station, Kanyakumari District is directed to give proper advice to them. Sd/- Assistant Registrar /TRUE COPY/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
