ORDER

The petitioner approaches this Court with a prayer to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner without any case being registered against him.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the State and also perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner has not committed any offence, the first respondent is repeatedly summoning the petitioner under the guise of enquiry and is threatening to foist a false case against him. Therefore, the petitioner is constrained to file this petition.

4. Per contra, the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the State on instructions would submit that the petitioner had indulged in drunken driving and he has also compounded the offence and as on today no petition is pending against him.

5. The said submission of the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on instructions, is placed on record and this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
