ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.R.SHIVAKUMAR, J] The husband of the alleged detenu is the petitioner in the Habeas Corpus Petition. He has alleged that his wife, Gajapriya was abducted by the 5th respondent herein.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions from the police, submits that a case was registered in Crime No.298 of 2015 on the file of Lalgudi Police Station and on investigation, the police got information that there was no abduction and the wife of the petitioner had eloped with the 5th respondent.

3. Under the said circumstances, the petitioner also does not seem to be having keen interest in taking back his wife. Hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner has sought for the permission of the Court to withdraw the Habeas Corpus Petition without prejudice to his right to work out his remedy in an appropriate forum. An endorsement to that effect has also been made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. The same is recorded and the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as indicated supra.
