This application has been filed for a direction to the learned Special Judge under the TANPID Act, Madurai to conduct the trial on day to day basis and conclude the trial in C.C.No.40 of 2013.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), on instructions, submitted that A6 has filed discharge application under Section 239 Cr.P.C. and the same is pending.

3. It is seen that there are six accused in this case and it is not necessary for the trial Court to obtain the discharge application from one accused after the other and deal with the same. Under Section 239 Cr.P.C., the Court can decide the framing of charge for all the accused simultaneously. Bearing this in mind, the trial Court is directed to expeditiously complete the trial.
