ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondent to register the gift deed in favour of the petitioner's adopted son.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that if any settlement deed is presented for registration, it will be registered. 3.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to present the settlement deed in respect of the subject property before the respondent and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to register and release the document, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
