ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 498(A) and 506(ii) of IPC., and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, in Crime No. Not Known of 2018 seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it is alleged that the petitioner was having illicit relationship with the defacto complainant and due to that, the defacto complainant started to demand a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- for her daughter's marriage and lodged the present complaint against the petitioner. He would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. 3.Heard the Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Magistrate concerned within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aruppukottai, or to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m for two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation.
