O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to take necessary 1/3

action against the 3rd to 7th respondents, who have committed cognizable offences against the petitioner and give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family, on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 24.03.2020.

2. Today when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that before preferring the complaint dated 24.03.2020, this petitioner had lodged a complaint before the 1st respondent in the year of 2019 and upon which, a current paper enquiry was initiated in C.No.G3/2366/36469/2019, dated 31.01.2020 and the same was forwarded to the 2nd respondent for necessary action. In the enquiry, both the petitioner and the respondent are not co-operated and therefore, the enquiry was kept pending on the file of the 2nd respondent without any order.

3. In this regard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner prayed this Court to pass appropriate orders for completing the enquiry.

4. The petitioner is directed to appear before the 2nd respondent on 06.08.2020 and thereafter, the 2nd respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner. In the meanwhile, the 2nd respondent is directed to give necessary protection to the petitioner, if necessary.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
