ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner's lands are proposed to be acquired under Central Act 30 of 2013 for construction of barrage in Kollidam river. Notification under Section 11 of the Act was issued on 13.09.2023. The one year period is yet to expire. It is undertaken that notification under Section 19 of the Act will be issued before the expiry of the said period. The respondents are directed to expedite the acquisition proceedings as far as the petitioner is concerned and also deposit the amount so that the petitioner can withdraw the same. The entire process as far as the petitioner is concerned shall be completed within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

3.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
