O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2017.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she is being repeatedly harassed and threatened by her son Kandasamy for giving him certain properties. In this regard, the petitioner has given a complaint dated 23.03.2017 to the respondent police and has now filed the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State. Today, Mr.G.Murugesan of Aamathur Police Station, Virudhunagar District is present. On instructions, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that during pendency of this petition, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Kandasamy and 13 others have assaulted one Chinnammal, who is the daughter of the petitioner, pursuant to which, a case in Crime No.137 of 2017 has been registered under Sections 147, 148, 294 (b), 323, 324, 342, 506(2), 120-B IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act, 2002 against them. Similarly, on the complaint given by Kandasamy, a case in Crime No.136 of 2017 has been registered under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(2) IPC against Ponraman and 11 others.

4. In view of the above, the Police are directed to enquire into the complaints given by both parties and ensure that no harm befalls the petitioner from her son Kandasamy and his group.
