O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to investigate the matter in accordance with law and to file a final report in Crime No.14 of 2015 pending on the file of the respondent police within a specified period.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even after a lapse of 6 months from the date of registration of the case, the second respondent did not take any efforts to file the final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the second respondent requires three months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.90 of 2016.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.90 of 2016 before the Court concerned within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
