O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 18.03.2021 and to survey and demarcate the subject property.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was purchased by the petitioner by virtue of a registered sale deed dated 24.12.1973 and patta was also issued. The petitioner wanted to conduct a survey of the subject property and to mark the boundaries. The petitioner made a representation in this regard and also paid the necessary fees. Since the same did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3. Heard Mr.M.Karunanithi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.P.Narayanakumar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.7653 of 2021 shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 18.03.2021 and take a decision with regard to conducting the survey of the subject property within a period of six(06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. If the second respondent decides to conduct a survey of the subject property and if there are any other interested party, notice shall be issued to them before conducting the survey.

6. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

7. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
