Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to disburse the amount payable to the petitioner for the works carried out by him vide the tender confirmation order in Na.Ka.No.176/2021 dated 03.06.2022 issued by the fourth respondent within a stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner is a contractor. He carried out certain works for the fourth respondent local body. His bills are yet to be settled. That led to the filing of this writ petition.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the local body that the petitioner's bills will be settled within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4.Recording the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
