ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction against the second respondent, namely, the Revenue Divisional Officer, R.D.O Office, Musiri, Trichy District, to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in proceedings Na.Ka.No.6045/2015 (A1).

2. According to the petitioner, the appeal has been pending for a quite considerable period of time. Since this appeal is pending before the respondents, it may not be appropriate on the part of this Court to go into the facts of the case. It is suffice to point out that earlier the petitioner filed W.P.(MD).No.19915 of 2015 before this Court and by order dated 12.11.2015, the petitioner was granted liberty to file an appeal before the Appellate Authority. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the appeal was filed. But it had not been disposed of.

4. Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice on behalf of the respondents.

5. It would only be appropriate that the appeal is disposed of within a reasonable period of time. Accordingly, the second respondent is granted eight weeks time from the date of receipt of this order to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner.
