O R D E R
On the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.103 of 2017 has been registered on 24.03.2017 under Sections 294(b), 379 and 506(2) of the Indian Penal Code against one Parvathi Muthu and three others. While so, the petitioner is before this Court for a direction to the respondent police to give police protection against the threat by the said Parvathi Muthu and his group.

2. Heard Mr.S.Selvakumar, learned counsel for the
petitioner and Mr.K.Anbarasan, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondents.
3. It appears that there is a quarrel between the petitioner and the said Parvathi Muthu group with regard to the property in question and that Juliflora Trees in the said property have been cut. Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the First Information Report, this Court directs the respondent police to ensure that no physical harm befalls the petitioner herein from the said Parvathi Muthu Group. As regards the right to cut Juliflora trees, this Court cannot give any finding in this petition and it is left open to the parties to work out their remedies before the appropriate forum.
4. This Criminal Original Petition is closed with the above direction.
