O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate, No.II, Madurai to dispose the proceedings in C.C.No.620 of 2009 within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the Judicial Magistrate, No.II, Madurai, has sent a report dated 07.06.2017 giving reasons for delay and disposal of the case.

4. In the said report, he has stated as follows: "I further humbly submit that the witnesses are produced in the next hearing date this criminal case can be disposed within 3 months and I am taking every endeavour to dispose the old cases and I oblige and abide by the further directions from the Hon'ble Court."

5. Recording the same, the Judicial Magistrate, No.II, Madurai is directed to dispose of the case within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
