Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner wants this Court to restrain the local body from passing any resolution against him. It is well settled that such a relief cannot be sought for. If according to the petitioner, the resolution passed by the local body is illegal or against public interest, appropriate remedies are available.
