This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent police not to harass the petitioner and her family members under the guise of enquiry based on the complaint of the second respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first respondent; and perused the materials placed on record.
3. Mr.T.Pandi, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, C-3, S.S. Colony Police Station, is present in Court today. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that, on the complaint given by one Jeeva Sankar against this petitioner, a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.285 of 2017 before the first respondent police.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a widow and after the death of her husband, the said Jeeva Sankar approached her and entered into an agreement dated 20.03.2017, in which, he has agreed that the petitioner's husband should pay only Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only), but, whereas, he has given a false complaint of job racketing.
5. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the first respondent police and explain all these things and also participate in the enquiry and during enquiry, she shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the first respondent is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
