Mr.K.Ramaiah, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent.

2. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

3. The petitioner herein claims to be the son of one Late.Manikandan, who worked as an Assistant Mechanic in the respondent - Transport Corporation and passed away on 14.01.2025. He made a claim for payment of his share of terminal benefits of his deceased father along with the other legal heirs of his father and submitted a representation dated 19.02.2026 to the respondent - Transport Corporation requesting them to include his name in the Service Register of his deceased father and for disbursement of monetary benefits equally on par with the other legal heirs of his deceased father. The said representation is stated to be still pending consideration before the respondent - Transport Corporation. He also placed on record a copy of the legal heirship certificate issued by the competent authority. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that there is no dispute with the other legal heirs of the petitioner's deceased father and they

have no objection for disbursal of the terminal benefits of the petitioner's deceased father equally to all the legal heirs. However, for the reasons best known, the petitioner has not chosen to implead the other legal heirs of his deceased father as party respondents to this writ petition.

4. Considering the fact that the claim made by the petitioner is pending consideration before the respondent - Corporation, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the case at this stage.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent - Transport Corporation to consider the representation dated 19.02.2026 claimed to have been submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders duly putting the other legal heirs of the deceased Manikandan on notice, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
