ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation from the third respondent to the fourth respondent or any other Honest Officer in Crime No.23 of 2022 on the file of the third respondent as per law with in a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that specific statement has been made by the Investigating Officer, at the time of hearing the Anticipatory bail petition that no recovery has been made and the petitioner's statement is not recorded.

3. A perusal of CD file shows that so far no recovery has been made and the accused has not been subjected to the enquiry with regard to the missing of jewels.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the petitioner is directed to appear before the third respondent police and give further statement with regard to the missing of jewels. Investigating officer/Third respondent is directed to complete the investigation within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and second respondent/The Deputy Superintendent of Police is directed to monitor the investigation.
