O R D E R

This Criminal original petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2023 and his family members.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it is the civil dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent herein, over which a suit in O.S.No.89 of 2003 was filed by the petitioner, but that was dismissed for default 10.10.2022, against which, he filed an appeal. Pending appeal, the third respondent makes life threat and interfering into the property of the petitioner. Based upon which, the above said representation was made by the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the above said representation, enquiry was undertaken by the second respondent herein. In view of the above pendency of the civil process and also both the parties given a statement to the effect that they will workout their remedy through the pending civil process, the above said enquiry was closed.

4. With the above said observation, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this matter. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
