ORDER
This petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life, limb of the petitioner and her family members by considering her representation dated 04.03.2023.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner married the third respondent's son and they were living at Dindugal. He further submitted that the petitioner and her husband are belongs to different community. From the date of their marriage, the third respondent harassed the petitioner and her husband. Therefore, she made a representation and the same is still pending. Hence, she filed this petition seeking police protection.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the respondent police has not received any representation from the petitioner so far. He further submitted that the respondent police is ready to consider the petitioner's representation, if the petitioner give fresh representation.

In view of the above submission, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation before the concerned Competent authority within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass order on its own merits, by conducting proper enquiry by summoning the petitioner and counter parties. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
