Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Thoothukudi to expedite the trial in S.C.No.369 of 2015 within the time frame as may be fixed by this Honourable Court. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Thoothukudi to expedite the trial in S.C.No.369 of 2015.

2. The Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the case is at the stage of examination of witnesses.

3. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Thoothukudi to dispose the case pending in S.C.No.369 of 2015 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
