Heard, Mr.K.S.Kathiravan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.

2.The petitioner is one of the joint owners, among eight others, with respect to the property at Survey Nos.1002/3, 1013/2B, 1013/4, 1016/2, 1017/1B, 1026/2A1, 992/2A, 992/2B, 994/1 and 994/2 at Vadugampadi Village, Gujiliyamparai Taluk, Dindigul District. The property had not yet been divided into metes and bounds. The petitioner had given a representation and also paid necessary charges for sub dividing the property and to issue separate patta.

3.A direction is given to the second respondent to examine the representation given by the petitioner and issue notice to all those interested in the property. If he is satisfied, sub divide the property and issue a common patta, if all the family members are united among themselves and with the consent of all the eight members, issue independent patta. The entire exercise should be completed, within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
