ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.11 in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.4637 was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 14.07.2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 457, 449, 397, 307, 120(b) of IPC in Crime No.207 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
The petitioner/Accused No.11 in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.4636 was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 14.07.2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 457, 449, 397, 307, 120(b) of IPC in Crime No.207 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The incident took place on 23.03.2016 and on the said date, he was in Singapore and he came to India only on 12.07.2016. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the petitioner with his brother Karthikaisamy and others have involved in several crimes including the case under consideration and the confession statements of the petitioner reveals the criminal background of the petitioner and his involvement in the present case. On perusal of the case diary, it is seen that the petitioner used to operate from Singapore through his associates and has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
involved in this crime.
4. Considering the gravity of offence and stage of the investigation and also considering the fact that the petitioner may flee from the country, if released on bail, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners and hence these petitions are dismissed.
