PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying this Court to call for the records in the petitioner in D.V.C.No.5 of 2016, on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thoothukudi, Thoothukudi District and quash the proceedings initiated against the petitioners herein on the basis of the petition filed by the Respondent.

ORDER

This petition is filed to call for the records in D.V.C.No.5 of 2016, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Turicorin and quash the same in respect of the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioners are in-laws of the respondent. Since allegations have been made against the petitioners also, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in DVOP No.5 of 2016 in respect of the petitioners.

4.In fine, this petition is dismissed. However, the appearance of the petitioners before the trial Court is dispensed with and they are directed to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tuticorin as and when required.
