This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioners. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) for the respondent. 3.It is seen that a case in Crime No.816/2016 has been registered against Ramesh, S/o.Varuvel, the third petitioner herein, under Section 110 Cr.P.C. and therefore, no order as prayed for can be granted, in view of the law laid down by this Court in Dorand v. The Superintendent of Police, Nagercoil (2016

(2) CTC 286).

4. As regards petitioners 1 and 2, it is reported that a case under Section 302 IPC is pending against them, which was registered in the year 2006. In view of the above, unless the petitioners 1 and 2 are involved in any cognizable offences or any complaint against them from anyone, the respondent police shall not harass them.
