Prayer:This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. directing the second respondent not to interfere in the petitioner civil dispute in respect of the land property in S.No.233/1, 233/2, 233/10, 229/15, 232/11, 232/14, 232/13 situated at Onangudi Village, Mirattunilai Revenue Circle, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to interfere with the petitioner's civil dispute.

2The grievance of the petitioner is that there was a civil dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent and a civil suit is pending before the Sub Court, Pudukkottai for partition. Pending suit, based on the complaint given by third respondent, the second respondent police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3.Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, on instructions, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

would submit that there is a civil dispute between the parties with regard to cultivation of land. Based on the complaint given by the third respondent, an enquiry has been conducted and the same was closed as civil in nature.

4.Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the complaint has been closed as civil in nature, nothing survives for further adjudication. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the second respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioner.
