Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the impugned government order issued by the 1st respondent herein by her proceedings in G.O.Ms. No.17 (Commercial Tax and Registration Department) dated 01.03.2023 and quash the same as illegal and pass further direction directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein to convene the general body of the Victoria Edward Hall, Madurai and constitute new committee for the triennium period 2023-2026 as per provisions of Tamil Nadu Act 27 of 1975 and as per byelaws of the society within a time stipulated by this Court.
