O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing the FIR in Crime No.91 of 2021 registered on the file of the first respondent.

2. It is a case of case and counter. The defacto complainant Ajin is present in person before this Court through video conference. He has been duly identified by Thiru.S.Iyyampillai, Special Sub-Inspector of Police-1324, attached to the North Police Station, Thoothukudi District. The defacto complainant categorically states before this Court that he does not want to pursue the complaint. Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned prosecution alive. The parties have also filed a joint compromise memo. The impugned FIR is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
