O R D E R
Seeking a direction to the learned Special Judge under the TNPID Act, Madurai to conduct the trial on day to day basis and conclude the trial in C.C.No.119 of 2008 within a time frame, the petitioner has come up with this petition.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondent. 3.The trial Judge has sent a detailed report dated 20.06.2017, wherein she has stated that 369 witnesses have to be examined in the case.
4.In view of the above, this Court directs the learned Special Judge, Special Court under TNPID Act Cases, Madurai to complete the trial in C.C.No.119 of 2008 within a period of 12 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
