JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) We do not see any merit in the appeal. The Writ Court had dismissed the writ petition on the ground that an order of transfer simpliciter of another person cannot be challenged by the appellant/writ petitioner on the ground that it affects his promotional chance. If the appellant is entitled to and qualified for promotion, it is open to him to seek promotion. The appellant cannot question an order of transfer posting another person in the temple in which the appellant is working.

Hence, the Writ Appeal is dismissed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
